Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in roadway design or related field.
• PE license in North Carolina or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop horizontal and vertical alignments; prepare roadway construction plans; perform geometric analyses, quantity computations, drainage coordination, and cost estimates.
• Work within NCDOT design criteria and AASHTO guidance to produce practical, quality design solutions meeting project objectives and client requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; apply quality control feedback; mentor junior staff as experience grows.
