Job summary

Exelon is seeking a mid-level attorney in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) practice area to provide full legal services to clients under supervision. You will conduct research, prepare contracts and briefs, and perform non-routine assignments.

The role supports diverse business units and requires strong communication, analytical and regulatory skills. It is an on-site position in Philadelphia with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include an LLB or JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in applicable jurisdictions.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.
• Excellent legal research, analytical abilities and current knowledge of federal/state law.

Responsibilities

• Performs broad and moderately complex legal assignments in the area of FERC regulations and policies.
• Advises clients with respect to all legal and FERC compliance matters.
• Develops understanding of each assigned client’s business and philosophy.
