A growing transactional real estate practice is seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate to join its New Jersey team. The position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate matters spanning markets across the United States, with meaningful responsibility for drafting, negotiation, and transaction execution.
This opportunity is well suited to an associate who has developed a solid commercial real estate foundation and is looking to broaden their experience within a collaborative national practice.

Experience handling transactions involving land use approvals, development considerations, and related contingencies would be particularly valuable.

The position provides national deal exposure alongside the opportunity to deepen experience across acquisitions, leasing, financing, and other aspects of commercial real estate. The working model combines regular in-office collaboration with flexibility, with attorneys generally expected to work from the office three days per week.
Candidates should have 3–6 years of commercial real estate experience, with substantive experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents.
Excellent drafting and writing skills, strong academic credentials, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of complex transactions are expected.
Candidates must have a JD and previous experience working in a law firm.
The anticipated initial base salary range is $225,000–$280,000, depending on relevant experience, skills, location, and other job-related considerations. Additional compensation may include productivity and discretionary bonuses.
