Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level real estate associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in San Diego, CA. The associate will collaborate with clients in the agriculture, renewable energy, timber, and mining sectors, as well as local and regional real estate developers, owners, and operators.


Duties


  • Draft real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and loan documents.

  • Prepare construction-related documents, such as prime contracts and subcontracts.

  • Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review and zoning analysis.

  • Manage multiple deals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide excellent communication and client service with a business-oriented mindset.

  • Collaborate across practice areas in a team-oriented environment.


Requirements


  • 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.

  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills with attention to detail.

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in or commitment to applying for the California bar.
