Job summary

Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL seeks a Mid-Level Radar Engineer/Analyst to join an AVMC lab that supports radar system development, test, and fielding. You will design analysis tools, perform comprehensive radar performance analyses, and interact with MDA, program offices, and prime contractors.

Eligible candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master’s in engineering/physics/math/CS, 5+ years of data analysis experience, proficiency in MATLAB/Python, and an active secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience with sensor and/or system-level data analysis.
• Proficiency with data manipulation, visualization, and radar-related analysis using MATLAB/Python.
• Ability to explain complex radar behaviors clearly to broad audiences and contribute to reports/briefings.
• Experience developing/ improving analysis tools in MATLAB; radar analysis/TEV experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of analysis tools for radar systems.
• Perform performance analysis, modeling & simulation, and post-flight reconstruction.
• Collaborate with customers, MDA, program offices, and contractors.
• Investigate issues, conduct root cause analyses, and propose solutions.
• Prepare reports and briefings describing radar behavior and system interactions.
