Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks a Senior Level Air & Missile Defense Radar Simulation Engineer/Analyst to join its established radar team in Huntsville, AL. You will work with real-time HWIL systems, tactical software/hardware, and all-digital representations of radar systems to design scenarios and analyze performance.

The role requires 15+ years in radar data analysis with at least 5 years in radar sensor or system-level analysis, strong Matlab/Python skills, and US citizenship along with a SECRET

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in radar sensor and/or system-level data analysis.
• Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, visualization, signal and data processing, electromagnetics, and/or system engineering.
• Proficiency with Matlab, Python, and related analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scenarios for real-time HWIL radar simulations.
• Develop analysis tools and apply them to radar performance assessments.
• Enhance understanding of radar functions: acquisition, scheduling, tracking, discrimination, and system-level interactions.
• Support multiple projects: performance analysis, post-flight reconstructions, simulation integration, and risk reduction.
