Job summary

IERUS Technologies, Inc. seeks a Mid-Level MDS Radar Test and Analysis engineer to join a diverse and flexible team in Huntsville, AL. You will apply your radar knowledge to support Sensor Element performance analysis across GT, GTD, and CDI testing environments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in missile defense test and analysis, strong MATLAB and MS Office skills, and holds an Active Secret or higher clearance with U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Deep dive analysis of radar functions (acquisition, tracking, discrimination, scheduling) to support Sensor Element performance.
• Design and refine analysis tools and perform performance analysis on AN/TPY-2, SBX, UEWR, and COBRA DANE.
• Develop mission-specific test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Support MDS Ground Test (GT), Ground Test Distributed (GTD) and Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI) testing.

IERUS Technologies, Inc., is seeking a Mid-Level MDS Radar Test and Analysis engineer to join a diverse and flexible team; the ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience in Missile Defense MDS test and analysis, and will apply working knowledge of critical radar functions — including acquisition, tracking, discrimination, and scheduling — to support Sensor Element performance analysis across formal MDA Ground Test (GT), Ground Test Distributed (GTD), and Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI) testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deep dive analysis of critical radar functions — including acquisition, tracking, discrimination, and scheduling — to support Sensor Element performance analysis;

• Design and refine analysis tools and conduct performance analysis on AN/TPY-2, SBX, UEWR, and/or COBRA DANE;

• Development of mission specific test plan, test procedures, and test reports;

• MDS GT and FT Mission Management.

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering or similar field;
• 3+ years of experience;
• Strong understanding of missile defense test methodologies (Monte Carlo simulation, HWIL testing, pre/post-mission analysis) is a plus but can be trained;
• Deep knowledge with the operation and/or analysis of at least one of the following radars AN/TPY-2, SBX, UEWR, Cobra Dane;
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize technical data into clear briefings;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MATLAB ;
• Active Secret Clearance or higher;
• U.S. citizenship required.
