Jobgether is seeking a QA Engineer to drive testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, investigate defects, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

The role emphasizes API testing, browser dev tools usage, and participation in CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on risk-based testing and continuous improvement of QA practices.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with test automation tools and automated testing principles.
• Experience testing APIs using Postman and validating responses.
• Experience testing web and mobile apps across platforms; desktop testing is relevant.
• Ability to use browser dev tools (Network/Console) for debugging.
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows to support testing and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create, document, organize, and track bugs and defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Define, design, and validate test scenarios for web, mobile, and desktop apps.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for coverage and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to address quality risks early.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, providing QA input on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Investigate issues, analyze results, and coordinate with dev teams to resolve defects.
• Perform API testing to validate responses, codes, and integrations.
• Use browser dev tools to investigate issues and support debugging.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and testing strategies.
• Support integration of testing into CI/CD to improve release quality.
• Use test management tools to organize test cases and track execution.
• Utilize monitoring tools to analyze application behavior and quality.
