Schnabel Engineering is seeking a Mid‑Level/Project Dam Safety Engineer with expertise in one or more disciplines related to dam engineering (i.e. hydrology, hydraulics; geotechnical engineering; or structural engineering) and practical experience (>5‑yrs) in design and construction of embankment dams, concrete dams, and hydraulic structures to support our growing team in Austin. We are seeking experienced, motivated candidates with attention to detail, a passion to continue to develop as a professional, and a desire to be part of a strong team.
In Texas, Schnabel focuses primarily on the inspection, evaluation, rehabilitation design and construction of existing dams and hydraulic structures, as well as risk informed decision making for a variety of public and private clients. This position offers a combination of technical work and management responsibilities.
The compensation range for this position is between $73,000 to $110,000. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. We remain committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation to all employees, regardless of their location.
