One of our companies is currently looking for a Lead Software Developer/Product Owner in the United States. We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Software Developer/Product Owner to oversee the development of a proprietary software product within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. This role combines hands-on development, team leadership, and strategic product ownership. You'll lead a team of developers, prioritize and manage initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to transform business needs into scalable solutions. Accountabilities:

• Lead a development team as both product owner and team lead, managing Agile ceremonies and mentoring developers
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions through effective prioritization and collaboration with stakeholders
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable code aligned with best practices
• Oversee key systems, ensuring they are maintained, monitored, and optimized
• Guide architectural decisions, technical planning, and prototype development
• Break down complex initiatives into actionable items and assign work based on team capabilities
• Contribute to continuous improvement across development processes and product outcomes

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software development using object-oriented languages, with strong proficiency in Java 8+
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or coaching capacity
• Solid experience leading software development projects from planning to delivery
• Comfortable working with MySQL on large data sets
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and drive resolutions efficiently
• Preferred: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, UNIX/Linux, and collaboration with DevOps/Data Engineering teams
