Wwshemi is an early-stage AI recruiting technology company seeking a full-stack Product Engineer to build reliable, user-focused products and integrate AI capabilities into practical experiences. You will help shape technical direction as the team grows.

You will own features end-to-end, design APIs and data models, and work across frontend and backend to deliver scalable product flows. This on-site role is based in San Francisco, CA, with a focus on impactful user outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2 to 8 years of software engineering experience.
• Shipping user-facing products in a startup/product-focused environment.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and React or Next.js.
• Backend development in Python or Node.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS or GCP.
• Practical experience integrating AI or LLM services into production applications.
• Strong product judgment and end-to-end ownership.
• Willingness to work on-site 9-to-9.

What We're Looking For

• 2 to 8 years of software engineering experience, including shipping user-facing products in a startup or product-focused environment.
• Production full-stack experience with TypeScript and React or Next.js, plus backend development in Python or Node.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS or GCP.
• Practical experience integrating AI or LLM services into production applications, with an emphasis on engineering and user outcomes.
• Strong product judgment, end-to-end ownership, and comfort working across frontend, backend, and operational tasks in a small, high-ambiguity team.
• Backend-heavy product engineering experience; familiarity with multi-tenant, enterprise-ready, real-time, or high-throughput systems and regulated industries or complex internal tools is useful.
• Willingness and availability to work on-site on the expected 9-to-9 schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $150,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
