Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Mid-Level Pricing Analyst to join our Finance organization in the United States. You will develop cost proposals and pricing models, advise on risk, and ensure compliance with FAR/CAS/DFARS while coordinating with multiple internal teams to support winning bids.

You will influence pricing strategy, support cash flow analysis, and manage schedules to deliver polished proposals on time. The role requires strong MS Office skills and a government contracting background.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business or related field with 2+ years pricing experience or MA/MS with 0–2 years pricing experience.
• Knowledge of Federal Government Pricing.
• Understanding of FAR, CAS, DFARS, and various contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, T&M).
• Experience supporting DCAA audits and reviews.
• Advanced MS Office skills.

As a Pricing Analyst, reporting to the Sector Pricing Director, you will serve as an integral member of Peraton’s Finance organization, enhancing our strategy of winning new and follow-on business.

Responsibilities:

• Development of cost proposals, both the pricing models as well as the cost volume narrative, paying careful attention to key strategies and tactical assumptions.
• Advise internal clients on risk mitigation and development of winning price strategies.
• Ensure the final cost proposal’s compliance with Governmental regulations, including CAS, FAR and DFARS; Corporate policies and procedures; and specific requirements in each of the client’s solicitations.
• Coordinate the development of the cost volume with contributing sources with Management at all levels, and with other Functional Areas including Capture Management, Business Development, Contracts, Finance, Procurement, HR/Compensation, and technical personnel.
• Help lead or assist in the development of pricing strategy aligned to win themes, competitive positioning, and customer priorities.
• Support Financial Analysis and cash flow development
• Manage the cost proposal schedule to ensure production milestones, management/risk reviews and a compliant, professional product are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide support for subcontract solicitations and contract negotiations.
• Assist with internal and DCAA/DCMA reviews, and support audits and/or customer fact findings.
• Assist Pricing management with training, cost proposal review, policy compliance initiatives and the review and refinement of policies, procedures, and toolsets.

Qualifications

RequiredQualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Business or related field and 2+ years or pricing experience; or MA/MS degree in Business or related field and 0-2 years of pricing experience.
• Knowledge of Federal Government Pricing
• Understanding and experience using all contract types, including Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, and Time and Materials contracts.
• Understanding of Pricing Strategy
• Experience using and understanding Forward Pricing Rates, and their impact to contract pricing.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Prior experience supporting DCAA audits and reviews.
• Advanced skills using MS Office applications.
• Organized, task oriented, reliable, communicative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in Financial Analysis and Cash Flow
• Proven ability to handle multiple, often conflicting, priorities under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, often fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Motivated, fast learner and a self-starter.
• Working knowledge of Adobe desirable.Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• US Citizenship.

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
