Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an ambitious Director of Capture Operations with demonstrated success in capturing operations. As a Director of Capture Operations, you will lead the team responsible for delivering strategic capture capabilities to Sector Business Development Executives, Solution Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to develop opportunity win strategies, propose and close differentiated solutions that provide customer value to requirements and challenges.

What You Will Do:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the capture operations team that has responsibility for capture processes and supporting the development of compelling proposals; and responsible for growth training

  • Understanding of Operational environments and how to position Peraton to deliver end-to-end mission value to program sponsors.
  • Responsible for supporting development of a winning offer and solution sets through a series of common tools (e.g., technical, management, past performance, cost/price).
  • Manage a team that builds predictive models and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex datasets.
  • Design and Develop Growth Reports within Customer Relationship Management Repository
  • Responsible for managing Growth Knowledge Management Data Repositories - must be able to Clean, preprocess, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Design interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Establish and manage communications and relationships with partners and subcontractors, coordinating customer communications and relationships with Business Development to drive high quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
  • Manage credentialing and maintaining data source integration layers.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the Peraton growth process. Including integration with growth training programs.
Qualifications
  • 16+ years of relevant experience
  • Track record of managing or performing as an operations lead.
  • Proven track record of teaming and developing mutually beneficial partner relationships with peers and other vendors
  • Excellent business acumen; strong understanding of Federal procurement, contracting, and financial rules and regulations
  • Able to effectively diagnose client needs, propose and close solutions that have measurable and positive business impact
  • Display exceptional strategic selling skills including discovery, ROI development and presentation, sales cycle maintenance, tactical planning and closing
  • Demonstrate solid leadership qualities and organizational skills in coordinating the sales cycle
  • Ability to meet fast-paced hard deadlines with extended work hours
  • Establish, build, and maintain positive, professional relationships and interaction at all decision levels
  • Maintain a highly credible professional profile within the industry
  • Ability to communicate issues, concerns, and problems in a solution-oriented manner
  • Experience in development of successful negotiation of teaming agreements.
  • Experience with visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn
  • Experience with HTML, JAVA, and SQL
  • Experience with various AI Tool Capabilities (OpenAI, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
  • Must reside in Washington DC metro area.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
