Job summary

NuAxis is seeking a Mid-Level Power BI Developer for a full-time role to build dashboards, reports, and datasets supporting BI requirements under senior guidance.

Responsibilities include developing reports from approved data sources, writing DAX measures, Power Query transformations, performing data validation, and documenting report logic and data lineage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IT, or related field; 2 years may substitute for 1 year of the academic requirement.
• 3–5 years of Power BI or BI development experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) within 90 days of assignment.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) preferred.
• Required: Power BI Desktop and Service; DAX; Power Query; SQL; data visualization practices.

Job Summary:

Builds dashboards, reports, and datasets to support business intelligence requirements under senior guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reports, dashboards, and datasets from approved data sources.
• Write DAX measures and Power Query transformations to defined specifications.
• Perform data validation, defect resolution, and refresh troubleshooting.
• Document report logic, data lineage, and user guidance materials.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Two (2) years of specialized experience may substitute for one (1) year of the academic requirement.
• Minimum Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of Power BI or business intelligence development experience.
• Certifications — Required: None.
• Certifications — Obtainable After Hire: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), within 90 days of assignment.
• Certifications — Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900).
• Required Skills: Power BI Desktop and Service; DAX; Power Query; SQL; data visualization practices.
• Preferred Skills: Excel data modeling; Power Automate; accessibility-conscious visualization design.

Technical Environment

Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service; DAX and Power Query; SQL Server and Azure SQL; Excel and SharePoint list sources; scheduled refresh and gateway-connected datasets; Power Automate; Git-based report versioning.
