Job summary

CORRE, INC. seeks a motivated mid-level engineer for our construction group in Wisconsin. The role focuses on field inspection and documentation of WisDOT highway and bridge projects, with responsibilities to verify contractor compliance and track quantities using WisDOT systems.

The position also provides design support using Autodesk Civil 3D and tasks across roadway and structure design. You will lead project support, collaborate with WisDOT and municipalities, and manage multiple deadlines

Qualifications

• Minimum of a four-year technical degree in a civil engineering related field or comparable education with relatable experience.
• Familiarity with Wisconsin Department of Transportation and local agency procedures (preferred).
• Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

Description

Construction Inspection (Primary Focus)

Project & Team Support

• Lead or provide day-to-day support to project managers and engineers across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with WisDOT, local municipalities, and internal team members to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Handle multiple deadlines while producing high-quality work in both design and field environments.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Provide guidance for staff, promote company growth, and advance current processes.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Minimum of a four-year technical degree in a civil engineering related field or comparable education with relatable experience.
• Familiarity with Wisconsin Department of Transportation and local agency procedures. ( preferred)

Technical Knowledge

• Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D (preferred)

Working Conditions

• On construction sites, in field offices, and corporate office environments as needed
• Occasional travel required for meetings, training, and events
