Technical Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Network Engineer for a DoD project based in Huntsville, Alabama. This role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance, with on-site work at a DoD facility.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Cisco networks, VMware ESXi/vCenter, RHEL, Palo Alto firewalls, and Linux administration, contributing to secure, scalable network solutions in a defense environment. Telework is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with bachelor’s degree or 2+ years with a master’s degree.
• DoD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+ CE) required.
• U.S. citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience supporting government contracts.
• Active Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE) preferred.
• Experience with Cisco networks and network configuration.
• Experience with RHEL and Red Hat Satellite servers.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter.
• Experience with LAN and WAN management.
• Palo Alto firewall experience beneficial.
• Familiarity with Network Technologies and Cybersecurity.
• Strong Linux system administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Support/lead network engineering on a DoD project in Huntsville.
• On-site work at a DoD facility in Huntsville; telework is not available.
• Collaborate with government and contractor teams to design, implement, and secure network solutions.

Job Description

TCS is searching for a Network Engineer - Mid-level for an exciting role based in Huntsville, AL. This role will be supporting/leading a cutting edge new project supporting our client a leader in U.S. defense technologies.

These positions require US citizenship, an existing DoD clearance (Top Secret or higher), and on-site work at a facility in Huntsville, Alabama (telework is not available).

Required

• 5+ Years with bachelor’s degree or; 2 Years with master’s degree
• Must have a DoD 8140 certification (ex: Security + CE)
• U.S. citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance
• Previous support of govt contracts
