Mid-Senior Mechanical Engineer – Huntsville, AL

We are searching for a Mid -Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in our Huntsville, AL office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, a strong understanding of applied HVAC and plumbing systems, and a desire to grow, collaborate, and innovate.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the design and analysis of HVAC systems.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Contribute to proposal development.
• Participate in multidisciplinary projects across government, industrial, and corporate clients.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience (internship and professional experience included).
• PE license is a strong plus; EIT certification preferred with plans to obtain a PE license in the near future.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software.
• Experience with HVAC system design and analysis.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and supporting proposals.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
• Strong ability to work well within a team, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task, and self‑motivate to produce high-quality work.
