Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates to enhance team performance.
• Collaborate with experts and assist in the development of factual narratives and deposition preparation.
• Review and draft discovery responses, legal briefs, motions, and memoranda, ensuring clarity and precision.
• Contribute to the development of case strategies, leveraging legal expertise and analytical skills.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably from an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Strong science background, with experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industries is essential.
• Admission to practice in Virginia is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) with strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
• Additional qualifications such as MD, MPH, PharmD, or a degree in Epidemiology are preferred.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Virginia State Bar.
