Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is seeking a Mid‑Level Litigation Associate to join our Austin office. The candidate should have a minimum of four years of commercial civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting pleadings, motions, and related litigation documents; managing discovery, including taking and defending witnesses for depositions; and conducting legal research, analysis and writing.
This position is located in our Austin office.
Job Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- Excellent academic credentials
- Minimum of four years’ litigation experience
- Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices as the position evolves and firm needs change
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
