Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a Boeing company, is seeking a Lean practitioner to drive continuous improvement within Spirit Defense. You will apply Lean tools, coach cross-functional teams, and align projects with customer requirements in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and ERP/MRP systems. U.S. Security Clearance eligibility is required to operate on defense programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Lean Manufacturing experience.
Experience with SAP, ERP, MRP systems.
Strong communication and cross-functional leadership.
Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide awareness and guidance to apply Lean principles.
Gather customer requirements and evaluate current situation.
Define project scope and perform process analysis.
Collect performance metrics and document processes.
Develop Lean strategy and select Lean tools.
Coach cross-functional teams in Lean techniques.
Facilitate Kaizen events and measure cost savings.
Trend analysis of shop performance to identify improvements.
