Responsibilities:
  • Work on investments in and the formation of domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
  • Advise clients on secondary transactions, structuring separately managed accounts, and structuring carry vehicles.
  • Provide legal support in the formation, structuring, and management of investment funds.
  • Draft and negotiate relevant agreements and transaction documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex investment transactions.
Requirements:
  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where applying.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment funds, private equity, real estate, venture capital, or hedge funds.
  • Experience with secondary transactions, separately managed accounts, and structuring carry vehicles is preferred.
  • AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and good business judgment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong research, conceptual thinking, and ability to influence others.
  • Persuasive communication and management skills.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties, both verbally and in writing.

Education:
