You will handle complex litigation, analyze policies, draft opinions, manage matters from investigation to resolution, and interact directly with insurers and corporate legal departments.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of litigation experience required.
• Insurance defense or insurance coverage experience preferred.
• Active admission in Pennsylvania or New Jersey preferred; New York a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent insurers and insureds in complex litigation.
• Analyze insurance policies and prepare coverage opinions and memoranda.
• Develop litigation and claim strategy.
• Manage matters from initial investigation through resolution.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs and discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in mediations and arbitrations.
• Assist with trial preparation and appellate matters.
• Communicate directly with insurers and corporate legal departments.
• Work closely with partners on sophisticated coverage and defense matters.
