Position Overview: As a mechanical engineer specializing in HVAC design at Henderson Engineers, you will contribute to our sectors including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform calculations and design engineering systems independently.
• Prepare mechanical system layouts, drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for compliance.
• Research and evaluate system feasibility and product applications.
• Support business development and client relationships.
• Continuously learn industry software like Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office.
• Support project coordination activities such as managing emails, scopes, schedules, meetings, and quality.
• Assist and train others as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Mid-Level:

• Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural engineering preferred, with 3 years relevant experience, or 5 years without degree. PE license counts toward 1 year experience.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
• Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC software (IESVE, Trane Trace).

Experience Level:

• Bachelor's in relevant engineering field preferred, with 7 years experience, or 9 years without degree. PE license counts toward 1 year experience.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD and HVAC software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PE license.
• Completion of FE exam, LEED, and/or WELL accreditation.
• Knowledge of engineering design, codes, standards, and industry practices.
