Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer based in Bellevue, WA, to lead geotechnical tasks on medium- to large-scale civil infrastructure projects in water and transportation markets. The role requires mentoring staff, performing analyses, and producing reports and contract documents as part of a large interdisciplinary design team.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering plus an MS/PhD in geotechnical or geological emphasis, and 8 years of geotechnical consulting experience,

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering and MS/PhD with a geotechnical or geological emphasis
Minimum 8 years of geotechnical consulting experience with a focus on heavy infrastructure projects
PE license in state of Washington or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date

Responsibilities

Mentor less experienced staff on geotechnical projects
Lead data collection programs and geotechnical analyses
Prepare reports, contract documents, and provide construction support
Interact with clients and support business development
Advance regional and global geotechnical capabilities within the team
