Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a geotechnical engineer to prepare reports and calculations that conform to project specs for power and infrastructure projects. You will advise developers on utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage, and related facilities.

With a bachelor's degree in geotechnical-focused civil engineering and 3+ years of design experience, you collaborate across teams and communicate clearly. Travel domestically and internationally may be required, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical focus.
• 3+ years of geotechnical design experience including deep foundations and pile design.
• Ability to work in a team environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports and calculations for conformity with project specifications.
• Advise power project developers on utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage, thermal, and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct occasional on-site quality surveillance of subsurface exploration programs, pile installation, and pile testing.

• Salary range of $74,353 to $113,595 per year, depending on experience.
