Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) seeks a Mid Level Geologist or Environmental Scientist to support fieldwork and remediation projects in Raleigh, NC. Travel across the Southeast is required, with emphasis on QA/QC reporting and deliverables.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Geology or Environmental Science and 1–5 years of related environmental consulting experience, plus knowledge of NC regulations. Office and field work, and strong written communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Geology, Environmental Science or related)
• 1–5 years of field and office experience in environmental consulting
• Strong communication and technical writing skills with ability to deliver QA/QC focused deliverables
• Working knowledge of North Carolina environmental regulations
• Experience with environmental permitting including wetlands delineations, species assessments and environmental sampling is a plus
• Experience with NC Drycleaning program (DSCA) is a plus
