Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a mid-level geologist or environmental scientist to work onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio, supporting brownfield redevelopment programs for Midwest projects. You will manage field activities, coordinate teams, and contribute to technical reports while interacting with clients and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years in environmental consulting, OSHA HAZWOPER certification, and a bachelor’s degree in Geology or Environmental Science.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of environmental consulting experience.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER and 8-Hour refresher certifications.
• Knowledge of brownfield redevelopment processes and due diligence.
• Experience managing task orders or projects and communicating with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage smaller to medium environmental projects including Phase I/II assessments and remedial actions.
• Provide assistant project management support for larger projects.
• Support proposal and cost estimate development.
• Interact with clients, vendors and subcontractors.
• Collect field data: soil, groundwater, soil gas sampling.
• Oversee subcontractors during geophysical surveys and drilling.
• Prepare technical reports and mentor junior staff.
