Job summary

Recuro Health is seeking a Mid-level Full Stack Engineer to help build and maintain our diagnostics system within our telehealth platform. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and clients to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications across the full stack.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience and proficiency with frontend frameworks, API design, and SQL databases.

Qualifications

Summary

As a Mid-level Full Stack Engineer at Recuro Health, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining our diagnostics system with our larger telehealth offering. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to implement efficient, scalable, maintainable, and secure web applications. Your work will span the entire stack. By writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to our continuous integration and delivery processes, you will help ensure our products meet the highest standards in performance, security, and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain our diagnostics microservices and web applications to support/facilitate virtual healthcare


• Contribute across the stack – from front-end components to server-side logic to databases


• Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality features


• Conduct code reviews to provide feedback to maintain consistency and quality coding standards


• Help improve engineering processes, tools, and infrastructure

Required Skills

• Proficiency in at least one of the following frontend frameworks (e.g., React/React Native, Vue, Angular)


• Ability to design, build, and consume APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) and work with SQL databases


• At least 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience

Nice-To-Have Skills

• Experience with building mobile applications with Expo including development, release processes, and workflows


• Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g., structured logging, distributed tracing, or platforms like Grafana, Kibana, Application Insights)


• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)


• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)


• Familiarity with designing and developing a product feature or feature-set end to end


• Understanding of telehealth and healthcare industry


• Understanding of Healthcare Technology Standards and Regulations (HIPAA, FHIR, HITECH, etc.)

Location Preferences:

This role is open to Remote, but our preference for an ideal candidate would be hybrid with at least one to two days in office each week to work directly with our Engineering Team in our Minneapolis Office.

Salary Range

$105,000 – $125,000 per year, plus benefits and remote work flexibility.
