Job summary

Fisher Phillips LLP in Detroit seeks a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join our growing team. The role involves handling matters from inception through resolution, taking a lead role in case strategy, client communications, discovery, motion practice, and other client-facing work.

Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in litigation and the ability to manage substantive responsibilities with increasing independence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation experience, ideally in employment or defense-related matters.
• Admission to the Michigan Bar is required.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings and respond to pleadings.
• Manage written and electronic discovery, including e-discovery strategy.
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in mediations.
