• Negotiate executive employment and separation agreements; draft and argue substantive briefs and motions; take and defend depositions.
• Trial experience is preferred but not required.

• The firm's Employment + Labor Group advises established public companies, small startups, and organizations of all sizes on complex employment disputes, investigations, and challenges.
• The role involves providing day-to-day advice and counsel to clients on employment law compliance issues.
• Key litigation experience should include trade secret/employee mobility, whistleblower (SOX, Dodd Frank), high-stakes wrongful termination, employment discrimination and harassment, and pay disputes.
• Candidates will defend companies in complex employment actions in state and federal court, including wage and hour, discrimination, and pay equity class, collective, and representative actions.
• Work includes conducting workplace investigations involving the C-suite, performing due diligence on employment law issues in corporate transactions (mergers, acquisitions, financings), and negotiating executive employment and separation agreements.
• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage litigation daily, draft and argue substantive briefs and motions, and take and defend depositions with limited supervision.
• Trial experience is preferred but not required.
