Job description

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a candidate to provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing industrial power systems, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, and equipment layout.
2. Ensuring compliance with NEC and related codes.
3. Communicating effectively with clients and contractors.
4. Serving as the lead electrical engineer on projects, supervising less experienced staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
5. Utilizing AutoCAD; Revit BIM and SKM power systems experience are desirable.
6. Experience with instrumentation and control systems, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs, is a plus.
7. Holding a Professional Engineering License.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of electrical engineering and design experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
