Adgtech is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to advance modernization and technology transformation for government projects, improving critical missions worldwide.

The role requires US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance. Location is hybrid with on-site presence required at least once a week in the DC metro area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially with Jenkins using Groovy.
  • Hands‑on experience with container-based technologies, especially Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS, OpenShift.
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS managed services (VPC, EC2, EKS, RDS), including monitoring and analytics tools such as CloudWatch, NewRelic.
  • Familiarity with configuration management using Chef, Puppet or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of microservice concepts.
  • Experience with code management systems (Git, Subversion).
  • Experience maintaining Java/Node web applications (Spring Boot, React).
  • Keen communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and tools for an enterprise-scale system with a large developer base.
  • Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) artifacts.
  • Maintain container-based application solutions.
  • Write and run scripts (Bash, Python) to automate DevOps processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and validate configurations.
  • Provide deployment support by deploying applications and microservices in cloud environments.
  • Maintain, monitor, and improve production systems, networks, and databases.
  • Manage on-call rotation and respond to outages and incidents.
  • Handle OS patches and security updates across prod and non-prod environments.

Job description

We are seeking Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on modernization and technology transformation projects that will positively impact the critical missions of our government clients and solve challenges that aim to improve millions of lives across the globe.

Clearance: US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public trust clearance

Location: Every Wednesday onsite a week is mandatory

Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
  • Maintain CI/CD software delivery pipelines & tools for an enterprise scale system with a large developer base
  • Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) code artifacts
  • Maintain container-based application solutions
  • Write and run ad-hoc scripts (using Bash, Python etc.) to automate DevOps processes
  • Work with development teams to troubleshoot specific issues by recreating tests, validating configuration, etc.
  • Provide deployment support by deploying applications and microservices in cloud environments.
Operations
  • Maintain, monitor, and help improve the performance and availability of the 24x7 production environment including networks, servers, databases, etc.
  • Administer network monitoring system, alerting, log management, and other IT systems
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide hands‑on support during emergencies, outages, and service transitions
  • Manage operational maintenance such as OS patches, security vulnerabilities etc. to ensure healthy status of various prod and non-prod environments
