Job summary

Astrion seeks a Datalinks Test Engineer- Mid Level for the TGBC team at Eglin AFB, Valparaiso, FL. You will lead planning, execution, and reporting of data-link test activities and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Required: a technical bachelor’s degree and 3–10 years in related fields; ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance; travel up to 25% and lifting up to 50 lbs. This is not a remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 3–10 years of relevant experience substituted for education.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
• Experience in TDL, data link radios, RF waves, networking, and test execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary face to the customer and TGBC focal point for test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Design, coordinate, document, and brief test equipment architectures to meet information exchange requirements.
• Coordinate resources with MRTFB program managers for testing activities.
• Develop and maintain documentation libraries of lessons learned and program artifacts.
• Travel to sites for planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting.
