Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist – Mid-level to join our team at Bolling AFB to address diverse mission sets in a data-rich environment within the Defense Intelligence Analysis Program.

You will apply math, ML, NLP, and data engineering to produce actionable insights, develop dashboards, and deliver reports. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required; travel is up to 10% locally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of directly related experience, or Master’s degree and 2+ years directly related experience.
• Experience with using programming languages to manipulate and analyze data, including Python and SQL.
• Experience with machine learning, data cleansing, and statistical analysis.
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing.
• Ability to create reports and present key insights based on analysis.
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and experience implementing standard NLP methodologies such as TF-IDF or FastText.
• Experience programming in an AWS cloud environment.
• Active/current TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply mathematics to collect, interpret and summarize data to support intelligence analysis.
• Plan and perform data collection and processing, ensuring accuracy.
• Design and develop in Python and SQL to create robust analytics.
• Produce visual results via graphs, charts and dashboards, including Tableau.
• Prepare written and visual products describing findings and research.
• Ensure discoverability of analytics via dashboards and webpages.
