Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Mid-level Data Scientist to join the TCJ1-RD Human Capital Strategy & Analytics Branch to enhance, develop, and maintain a sustainable data strategy and analytics program. Location is Scott AFB, Illinois, with responsibilities spanning data transformation, BI dashboards, and collaboration with leadership to inform strategic human capital decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's with 5+ years (or advanced degrees with fewer years), experience with Palantir Foundry,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Masters and 3 years, or PhD.
Experience with Palantir Foundry.
Experience creating dashboards and business intelligence, and/or data science tools.
Demonstrated collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
U.S. citizenship required.
Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Transform data into actionable information to inform strategic human capital management.
Deliver data-driven decisional products supporting active-duty, Guard and Reserve members, and civilian employees.
Design and implement BI dashboards powered by advanced data science methods.
Develop and maintain a robust data foundation for on-demand analytics.
Analyze data to identify trends and relationships.
Map and analyze data across secure and non-classified networks.
Continuously improve tools to be faster, more accurate, and efficient.
Communicate and collaborate with users, SMEs, and leadership.
Provide insight to the team when developing data science tool lifecycles.
