Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Mid-level Data Scientist to work with the TCJ1-RD team to advance a sustainable data strategy and analytics program for human capital management.

The role focuses on transforming data into actionable intelligence, building dashboards, and delivering data-driven decisional products for military and civilian personnel, while maintaining secure cross-network data foundations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years, or a PhD.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Experience creating dashboards and BI tools.
• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Transform data into actionable information to inform strategic human capital management.
• Deliver data-driven decisional products supporting military and civilian personnel.
• Design and implement BI dashboards with advanced data science methods.
• Develop and maintain a robust data foundation for analysis-ready data.
• Analyze data to identify trends and relationships.
• Map and analyze data across defense networks.
• Improve tools to be faster, more accurate and efficient.
• Communicate results clearly to leadership and users.
