Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree and 2+ years related experience.
• Experience with programming languages to manipulate and analyze data, including Python and SQL.
• Experience with machine learning, data cleansing, and statistical analysis.
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, AI, or NLP.
• Ability to create reports and present insights from analyses.
• Knowledge of NLP and TF-IDF or FastText methods.
• Experience programming in an AWS cloud environment.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply mathematical or statistical methods to collect, interpret and summarize data for defense analysis.
• Plan and perform data collection and processing, ensuring accuracy.
• Design and test in programming languages including Python and SQL.
• Produce analyses via graphs, charts, tables, and dashboards using tools like Tableau.
• Prepare written and visual products to document findings.
• Ensure discoverability of analytics via dashboards and web pages; create new dashboards as needed.
• Develop and refine quantitative, qualitative and business analysis skills.
• Explore data sources using scientific methods to uncover insights.
• Apply domain knowledge to solve problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Work independently with some guidance; may mentor junior staff.
