Job summary

Saliense is seeking a Security Engineer - Middle to conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration testing across client/server environments, networks, and databases. The role requires hands-on SIEM management, incident response, and forensic IT functions, with a focus on proactive security improvements.

The candidate will operate within a security-focused team, ensuring compliance, vulnerability management, and threat prevention. One day onsite in Arlington, VA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a technology-related discipline is required.
• Hands-on configuration and management of SIEM tools.
• Experience with penetration testing and security assessments.

Responsibilities

• Define, review, and enforce information security policy, standards and guidelines for business operations and technology implementations.
• Coordinate and conduct security event collection, log management, and incident response activities.
• Perform enterprise vulnerability and patch management assessments and audits.
• Conduct technical security assessments of client/server systems, networks, databases, and vehicle/appliance tech.
• Coordinate IT security matters such as incident response and IDS management.
