Job summary

Phoenix Cyber is seeking Cybersecurity Engineers to join our client delivery team to strengthen security operations across diverse environments. You will contribute to designing, implementing, tuning and deploying security solutions while supporting incident response activities.

The role requires a STEM degree or equivalent experience, security certifications such as CySA/CEH, and a valid security clearance. Candidates with cloud security experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or 5+ years of security operations/incident response experience.
• Experience supporting Security Operations and Incident Response processes.
• Certifications such as CySA, CEH or equivalent.
• Active security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and real-life experience in creating innovative cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop, support, tune and deploy security solutions.
• Create WAF rules to mitigate threats and implement security best practices.
• Develop and enhance SIEM content including correlations, enrichments, dashboards, and alerts.
• Develop and implement automations in response to security incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
