Job summary

Ennoble First is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Security Engineer to support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation of cloud-based information systems. You will help ensure cloud environments meet Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity requirements while assisting with security architecture, RMF implementation, cloud security engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work closely with technical teams and government stakeholders to implement secure cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and administering cloud environments.
• Experience developing and evaluating security documentation (SSPs, contingency plans).
• Experience with RMF and security architecture evaluations.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes for IA/compliance.
• Define organizational desired state and risk thresholds; analyze state information for compliance.
• Advise on doctrine and procedures to support mission objectives.
• Evaluate software and applications for security best practices.
• Recommend tools and capabilities to address security requirements across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid resources.
• Implement cloud security architectures, tools, and processes for secure enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure cloud environments meet security requirements.
• Work with cloud security experts to identify and implement secure cloud technologies.
