Job summary

Visual Soft, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Mid Level Cloud DevOps Engineer for a fully onsite role in a classified AWS environment. The candidate will design, automate, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Linux administration, and secure DevSecOps pipelines.

The ideal candidate has deep AWS experience, Terraform IaC, Linux administration, and Agile/Scrum practices, with 5+ years of relevant work. The role requires TOP SECRET clearance and is onsite in Huntsville.

Qualifications

• US Citizens with active TOP SECRET clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Fully onsite in Huntsville, AL.
• Experience in AWS in classified environments and DevSecOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS and Terraform (IaC).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline).
• Administer Linux-based systems with a focus on security and compliance.
• Develop automation scripts (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for provisioning and monitoring.
• Configure networking, VPCs, IAM roles, security groups, and encryption in AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices and improve release cycles.
• Monitor production systems with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to support rapid delivery cycles.
• Support DoD/IC security accreditation and RMF/NIST/FedRAMP compliance.
