Job summary

Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to support a classified AWS environment. This fully onsite role in Winchester, VA requires Top Secret clearance and deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, Linux, and DevSecOps in a DoD/IC context.

The role emphasizes automation, secure pipelines, and active collaboration with development teams to meet stringent security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in AWS cloud services, Terraform IaC, Linux administration, and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience supporting DoD/IC security compliance frameworks (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP).

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS with Terraform.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Manage Linux-based systems for high availability and security.
• Develop automation scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Configure networking, IAM, encryption, and VPCs in AWS.
• Collaborate with developers to enhance DevSecOps practices.
• Monitor production with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to enable rapid delivery.
• Support accreditation under DoD/IC security frameworks.
