Job summary

VISUAL SOFT, INC is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer - Mid Level for a federal agency project in Huntsville, AL. Active Top Secret clearance is required for this onsite role.

You will design, deploy, test, operate, patch, and maintain DevSecOps tools and Linux systems, focusing on cybersecurity. Compensation is negotiable with standard benefits.

Experience with infrastructure as code and monitoring tools such as Splunk is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience
• Experience with Linux-based environment administration
• Experience deploying, maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure
• Experience developing cybersecurity software/tools
• Splunk experience

Responsibilities

• Design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching of DevSecOps infrastructure tools across all OS and components
• Manage primary Operations and Maintenance for multiple tools
• Deploy and configure services using infrastructure as a service provider
• Configure Linux-based servers to support a dynamic website
• Debug cluster-based computing architectures
• Use scripting or basic programming to solve problems; install and manage open-source monitoring tools
