Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4–8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 2–6 years of experience
• US Citizenship Active TS/SCI with ability to pass a Polygraph
• Professional experience developing object‑oriented applications in Java or Python
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Basic to moderate SQL experience with relational databases
• Working knowledge of Linux‑based environments
• Ability to work independently within established technical frameworks and deliver reliable results

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: design, implement, test, and maintain backend components
• REST API Development: create and sustain RESTful services for functionality and integrations
• Object‑Oriented Programming: apply OO design to build scalable systems
• Database Development: write SQL queries to support data retrieval
• Data Source Collaboration: understand data sources and integration methods
• Linux Environments: develop and troubleshoot in Linux environments
• Data Processing & Logic: implement backend data transformation and workflows
• Bug Fixing & Enhancements: debug and improve application performance
• Code Quality: follow standards, participate in reviews, and document work
