Yoh Services LLC is seeking a Mid Level Automotive Technician for a PM shift in San Francisco. The role supports a self-driving car initiative, focusing on documentation, testing, troubleshooting and general maintenance.

You will work with OEM tooling, read diagnostics, run Linux command line tests, and help lead a small team in a busy shop environment. The ideal candidate has auto technician experience in automotive, robotics, or aerospace, with strong documentation skills, schematic literacy

Qualifications

• Comfortable with Linux command line and interpreting results.
• Experience using vehicle OEM scan tools.
• Solid auto technician experience in automotive, robotics, or aerospace.
• Proven ability to work in a shop environment, manage inventory and cleanliness.
• Team oriented with leadership ability and collaboration.
• Proficient with reading schematics and repair guides.
• Strong documentation in repair orders with diagnoses and parts.

Mid Level Automotive Technician - PM Shift/San Francisco.

Looking for an auto technician to support a self-driving car initiative. This will be focused on general documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and general maintenance. The individual should have a general understanding of drivetrains to identify and investigate problems.

Scope:

• Solid experience tinkering with vehicles.
• Navigate databases to find repair modules and follow processes/procedures while keeping documentation on results.
• Work with OEM tooling/base car tooling, and understand how to work with it, read diagnostics, etc.
• Running Linux command line tests, not writing them but running and being able to understand results.
• Vehicle OEM scan tool usage.

Required:

• Running Linux command line tests, not writing them but running and being able to understand results.
• Vehicle OEM scan tool usage.
• MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH COMPUTERS, OEM SCAN TOOLS, AND RUNNING LINUX COMMAND LINE TESTS.
• Auto technician experience - Automotive, robotics, aerospace, etc.
• Experience working in a shop and maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, etc.
• Comfortable working in a team environment and leading others. This is NOT a solo position.
• Solid experience with tools - Saws, screw drivers, drill, spanners, etc.
• Experience reading and following schematics, manuals, repair guides, etc.
• Strong documentation abilities - Creating repair orders stating the diagnosis, the procedures performed, the parts required, etc.

Pluses:

• Autonomous vehicle background.
• Experience with auto mechanics, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience with sensors and calibration.
