Job summary

Yoh Services LLC seeks an Electromechanical Technician to build and assemble self-driving technology components, including sub-assemblies, PCBA solder/rework, and harness work.

The role requires strong documentation, solid knowledge of automotive systems, and the ability to read schematics. You will collaborate with Hardware Engineering while maintaining safety and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of direct experience in automotive, trucking, or prototyping spaces.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of automotive and trucking systems, tooling, and mechanical assemblies.
• Strong mechanical skills, ability to read schematics and layouts, and assemble mechanical systems.
• Ability to problem-solve, diagnose, analyze and isolate problems.
• Proficiency with Windows, Mac, or Linux.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• A can-do customer service attitude with the ability to multitask under pressure in an unstructured environment.
• Operate in a high paced R&D, Rapid Prototyping environment.
• Contribute to the overall team's success providing support in other areas of the R&D shops, i.e. electrical, fabrication, manufacturing, etc.
• Maintain and repair equipment as necessary, implement upgrades.
• Familiar with CAD software, SolidWorks and/or Catia preferred
• Able to read and comprehend engineered drawings
• Design parts/fixtures to aid in fabrication
• Document fixtures, designs, processes created in the machine shop to archive for later use

Desirable Qualifications

• Certification and training in GD&T
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, ERP, PLM, CAD, and various other software tools
• Experience with Instrumentation (i.e. thermal test set ups, fluid dynamics, air pressure, load cells, etc.)

Estimated Min Rate: $35.00

Estimated Max Rate: $45.00
