Job summary

Gensler San Diego is seeking a mid-level Designer - Architecture to advance their career within our collaborative design community. You will work with architects and designers to produce functionally beautiful spaces, driving projects from concept through build using Revit and related tools.

The role emphasizes collaboration, technical excellence, and client relationships, with a base salary estimated between $85,000 and $105,000 plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of post-graduation related experience as an Architectural Designer or Architect.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other 3D modeling software.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects in various stages and fast-paced work environment.
• Must include resume and work samples to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver informed project solutions based on client goals.
• Lead front-end design concepts with the design director including site master planning and 3D visualizations.
• Develop detailed analyses for concept plans and density/parking studies per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Deliver schematic drawings suitable for preliminary pricing and design development with clear notes and sections.
