Job summary

STG Design in Austin seeks an Intermediate Designer to develop design solutions and coordinate design through all project phases. This role refines architectural concepts into construction-ready documents while ensuring client needs are met.

You will work with a talented team to integrate design, engineering, and BIM workflows. A Bachelor's in Architecture and 3–5 years' experience with Revit are preferred; strong communication and city permitting knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 3-5 years of experience in architectural practice with a focus on construction documentation.
• Proficient in Revit and other design software and their application to Contract Documents.
• Knowledge of codes, consultants coordination and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce Contract Documents with support from Project Manager and senior staff.
• Act as day-to-day client contact and maintain knowledge of project facets.
• Facilitate project presentations delivering a consistent message to the client.
• Manage work plans, schedules, programs, and team assignments.
• Adapt standards to project requirements and apply broad knowledge of related disciplines.
• Contribute to design development and construction documentation across project phases.
• Ensure integration of design, engineering, and BIM workflows.
• Possess strong communication for project collaboration and documentation.
