Job summary

STG Design in Austin is seeking an Intermediate Designer to develop design solutions and coordinate design through all project phases, delivering spaces that are both beautiful and functional for clients.

You will refine architectural designs from concept to construction, connect with clients to capture their vision, and work with senior staff to produce contract documents using Revit and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural practice with a focus on construction documentation.
• Proficient in Revit and other design software and their application to Contract Documents.
• Knowledge of codes, coordination with consultants, and permitting processes.
• Strong communication skills for project collaboration and client interaction.
• Experience with multifamily and industrial market projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce Contract Documents with support from the Project Manager and Project Architect.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and maintain knowledge of all project facets.
• Facilitate project presentations to deliver a consistent client message.
• Manage work plans, schedules, programs, and project team assignments.
• Adapt standards to project requirements and contribute to design development.
