Job summary

ZGF Architects in Denver, CO is seeking a Mid-Level Architect with 5–15 years of experience to contribute design excellence across education, healthcare, civic and commercial projects. You will work independently and with teams to develop design and technical solutions, produce drawings and models, and support project delivery.

Ideal candidates are proficient in Revit, Enscape, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office, with strong communication and mentoring skills to guide junior

Qualifications

• Professional architectural degree and 5–15 years of related experience.
• Licensed architects strongly preferred.
• Experience detailing and producing construction documents with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in BIM and design software listed in tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform architectural assignments with general direction and independent work.
• Develop design and technical solutions across all project phases.
• Produce design drawings, presentation drawings and digital models.
• Research products/materials and inform documentation.
• Contribute to project narrative, goals, metrics, and integration.
• Support project quality, schedule, and budget.
• Assist in Construction Administration and project close-out.
• Contribute to office initiatives and marketing efforts.
• Mentor junior staff and build client/consultant relationships.

Job description

ZGF is seeking a Mid-Level Architect to join our team in our Denver, CO office. We are looking for thoughtful individuals with excellent communication and design skills. The ideal candidate will have between 5-15 years of professional experience and will bring design excellence to every project.

As a Mid-Level Architect , you will…

• Perform architectural assignments with general direction, no immediate supervision, and work independently as well as collaboratively with others toward design solutions.
• Assistin developing design and technical solutions for projects in all phases, including graphics, renderings, physical modeling, and performance metrics for the successful communication of the design goals.
• Provide production of design drawings, presentation drawings, and digital models in support of design teams.
• Research products and materials, review existing projects, and those under construction to inform the production of design documentation.
• Assistin the project’s narrative for meeting building performance goals, including metrics, verification, and design integration.
• Contribute to the effective performance of the project teamregardingproject quality, schedule, and budget.
• Assistin the execution of Construction Administration responsibilities and project close-out.
• Contribute to general office-wide initiatives and marketing efforts.
• Demonstrate motivation in seeking new responsibilities and challenges.
• Help build relationships with clients and consultants with team leaders.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated, proactive, and passionate
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent team communication skills, design presentation, and storytelling skills
• Experience detailing and execution of construction documents with minimal supervision
• Experience with complex multi-phased higher education, healthcare, civic and/or commercial development projects is desired
• Experience with energy modeling or daylighting tools is desired
• Proficiencyin Revit,Enscape, Rhino, Sketch-Up, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Professional Architectural degree and a minimum of 5 to15years of related experience
• Licensed Architects are strongly preferred

Base Salary Range

$86,000/yr - $115,000/yr
